The magazine’s “Noted” section features personnel news, community accolades, business openings and closings, and more.

Adams joined the firm in January. A Duke University School of Law alumna, she has more than 20 years of civil litigation experience, with extensive knowledge in the areas of trade secrets, financial services, employment, antitrust, LLCs and partnerships, and other commercial disputes, including appeals and investigations. Immediately before joining Parry Law, she was the head of litigation for First-Citizens Bank & Trust Company. She previously handled class actions and complex commercial disputes for large corporate clients while at Alston & Bird LLP.

Kasper joined the firm in October. Previously, Kasper served as a senior legal advisor to the Office of Governor Roy Cooper and General Counsel to the North Carolina Departments of Public Safety and Revenue. While with the State, Kasper’s responsibilities included serving as a member of the Governor’s core legal team responsible for developing, implementing, and defending executive branch policy related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Kasper worked as an adjunct professor at the Duke University School of Law during his tenure with the State.
