Val represents businesses, organizations, and individuals in complex commercial litigation, as well as people accused of a wide variety of criminal offenses.

Val grew up in Asheville, North Carolina. He graduated magna cum laude from Davidson College in 2020, and from Georgetown Law in 2024. While in law school, Val worked as a student attorney at the Georgetown Law Criminal Justice Clinic, where he represented indigent clients accused of crimes in the DC Superior Court under the District’s student practice rule.

Prior to joining Parry Law, PLLC, Val worked as a Law Clerk for both the Federal Public Defender’s office of the Western District of North Carolina, and the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia, as well as for two prominent criminal defense firms in Asheville and Raleigh, NC.
