March 4, 2018

Alan Parry served as a Chapter Editor for the “Commercial Litigation” chapter of the Seventh Edition of the North Carolina Manual of Complaints, recently published by the North Carolina Advocates for Justice. The Manual is an aid to practitioners, including complaints provided by contributing attorneys. The “Commercial Litigation” chapter includes complaints involving individual and class action claims for damages and equitable relief resulting from improper business or financial practices.

The North Carolina Advocates for Justice is a nonprofit, nonpartisan association dedicated to protecting people’s rights through professional and community legal education, championing individual rights, and protecting the safety of North Carolina’s families — in the workplace, in the home and in the environment. Alan is an active member of NCAJ, and a former Chair of the Commercial Litigation Section.

Alan’s litigation practice focuses on the representation of individuals and small businesses in a wide variety of commercial and consumer litigation matters, including breach of contract claims; claims for fraud, misrepresentation, and unfair or deceptive trade practices; insurance claims; corporate and shareholder disputes; financial services disputes; and claims involving covenants not to compete, non-solicitation agreements, and/or alleged misappropriation of trade secrets.
