Alan Parry Named A “Lawyer Of The Year” By Best Lawyers

Alan Parry has been recognized by his peers as one of the 2019 “Lawyer of the Year” award recipients. He received this accolade for his work in “Bet-the-Company Litigation” in Raleigh. Only a single lawyer in each practice area and community is honored with a “Lawyer of the Year” award.

Alan continues to focus his practice on commercial litigation, representing individuals and businesses in a wide variety of civil disputes. He is certified by the NC Dispute Resolution Commission to conduct Superior Court mediations, as well as mediations of estate and guardianship cases. As a mediator, he offers a balanced perspective based on his years of experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in civil disputes.

Alan has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America (Commercial Litigation and Litigation-Insurance) and Business North Carolina Magazine’s “Legal Elite.” He has also been recognized by North Carolina Super Lawyers magazine and give an A-V rating by Martindale-Hubbell. Alan is frequently asked to author articles and speak to legal and business groups regarding litigation, dispute resolution and insurance coverage issues.

Alan firmly believes in the importance of giving back to the community. He is a member of the NC Equal Access to Justice Commission, the Orange County Commission for the Environment and the Board of Directors of the Dispute Settlement Center. Alan also regularly volunteers to provide pro bono legal services, including “Lawyer on the Line” program. Alan is actively involved in the Bar, including the North Carolina Bar Association (Litigation Section Council; Insurance Law Section; Dispute Resolution Section) and the North Carolina Advocates for Justice.
