Andrew Kasper to Join U.S. Department of Justice

We congratulate our friend and colleague, Andrew Kasper, on his new role at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of North Carolina.

"I am honored to have the opportunity to represent the United States. As I depart Parry Law, I greatly appreciate the friendship and support of Alan and my other talented colleagues at Parry Law, with whom I have greatly enjoyed working and from whom I have learned a great deal,” Kasper said.

While at the firm, Kasper handled a variety of complex commercial and constitutional disputes, representing firm clients in state and federal courts across North Carolina.

“Andrew has been a valuable member of our team and a great advocate for our clients, and we will miss working with him,” said Alan Parry, the firm’s Managing Attorney. “That said, we are very proud of Andrew for taking on this important role, and we know that he will do just as great a job representing the interests of the United States.”

Prior to joining Parry Law, Kasper served as a senior legal advisor to the Office of Governor Roy Cooper and General Counsel to the North Carolina Departments of Public Safety and Revenue. Kasper also worked as an adjunct professor at the Duke University School of Law during his tenure with the State.

The firm wishes him well as he begins his new post at the end of August.
